The raw hydraulic output from the winch machinery of several “Fisherman” units is brought together and smoothed. This hydraulic energy replaces the electric motor and compressor pump of a conventional RO-system. Integrating Purenco’s wave energy technology with RO means a simplified energy conversion machinery design and fewer energy conversion losses, and thus lower technology risk, better energy preservation and increased profitability.
